You probably won’t hear Spyro the Dragon fans talk about the Legend of Spyro trilogy very often. The games switched up a lot of the foundations that the original trilogy had built, and the new trilogy hit the world like a mug of lukewarm tea. Some thought it was ‘alright’, but most thought it was awful.

However, one redeeming feature of these games was the quality voice acting provided by Lord of the Rings actor Elijah Wood. Wood brought a delightful energy to Spyro, and was also joined by David Spade as Sparx, and Gary Oldman as Ignitus.
