10 Video Game Cover Mistakes You Won't Believe

9. Rayman: Hoodlum's Revenge - Only One Hoodlum?

This one is a shout out to all the copy editors in the crowd, many of whom wouldn't be surprised if this error slipped through the cracks without anyone noticing.

Rayman: Hoodlum's Revenge is a Game Boy Advance game starring Ubisoft's once-popular mascot character, pre-Rabbids. So what's wrong with this seemingly innocuous title?

The titular Hoodlums are the primary antagonists of the Rayman games. In other words, they're the mostly identikit video game villains that you'll defeat by scores by the game's end - the Koopas of the Rayman world, if you will.

To put it simply: there are a lot of them.

But you wouldn't know that based on this title, as the sloppy misplacement of the apostrophe suggests that this is the revenge of a single hoodlum. To use the Mario analogy again, that would be like if the fourth Koopa from World 2-1 got its own game all about its revenge on Mario.

Presumably, the title was meant to read, Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge - in the plural - to indicate the revenge of Rayman's entire rogues gallery of anonymous henchmen.
