10 Video Game Deaths That Only Made The Characters Stronger

1. Jack Baker - Resident Evil: BioHazard

Jack Baker is easily the most iconic part of Resident Evil: Biohazard. The psychotic patriarch of the Baker family acts as the title's reoccurring villain, who endlessly chases you around his mansion, in the same way Mr. X and Nemesis do in the prequels.

He also, just like his predecessors, doesn't go down easily, as no matter how much ammo and explosives you throw at him, his body can just regenerate through it all and even come back stronger!

The first time you learn of Jack's invincibility is during the infamous boss fight in the garage. Anyone who's played BioHazard probably remembers the shock they experienced when Jack's legs got up and tried chasing them after his top half was fully blown off.

Well, that was just a taste of the real power of Jack's horrifying regeneration.

Not only does the villain come back fully recovered shortly after, but each time you "kill" him afterward, his mutations become more and more grotesque until he finally turns into a huge ooze monster capable of flooding entire parts of the mansion!

Aw, you melted his heart! No wonder he's so obsessed with you!
