10 Video Game Developers No Longer Making Games For YOU

6. Activision Blizzard

RIP Bioware
Blizzard

What They've Done: The Tony Hawk's series, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Tenchu

What They're Up to Now: Call of Duty, Overwatch, Diablo, Sekiro, Spyro the Dragon

Activision made their name after their no-so-friendly split from Atari way back in the 70's, but their phoenix rise to prominence really hit in the 90's. Securing a series of hits with the Tenchu and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series', success continued into the millennium with global boom of the Guitar Hero games.

That, and the runaway success of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in 2007.

They may have gone from strength to strength over the years, thanks to a merger with Blizzard in 2008, but it's at the expense of cutting some franchises.

COD and Overwatch may be dominating, but Tony Hawk games have died a quiet death. Tenchu lives on vicariously through Sekiro, whilst Spyro has seen a decent resurgence in a remastered trilogy last year.

But will Activision Blizzard release anything new, or just try rehashing Warcraft again? Didn't pan out very well, did it?
