Back in 2014, a Redditor by the name of u/TBTSyncro claimed to have worked on the hit 2001 snowboarding game SSX Tricky as a level designer, and revealed that the Aloha Ice Jam track had a secret shortcut which hadn't yet been discovered.

The designer couldn't specifically remember how to trigger the shortcut, but knew that it involved grinding an invisible rail.

This in turn energised SSX enthusiasts to hammer the track in search of the hidden trigger, but after eight years of searching and even a comprehensive datamine, it still hasn't been found.

Those spearheading the datamining efforts consider their attempts exhausted, leading them to speculate that the shortcut could've even been removed from the game during development.

The designer themselves entertained the idea that it had been cut though wasn't completely convinced either.

All the same, without another person who worked on the game piping up and putting everybody out of their misery, this Easter egg seems destined to remain unsolved forever more.
