2. Resident Evil 7 - Eveline
Old ladies and horror are normally shorthand for things going wrong, granted. But they're not usually gross... well, anymore than old people are in general.
But of course, this is a Resident Evil title and as established in this list, expect the grossness to be ramped up.
At first glance, the old dear in the Baker household looks comatose and innocent enough. Bit creepy that she pops up at random intervals, but we'll go with it. It's only later that you discover that this is Eveline, the weird psychic girl that's mind-warped the Bakers and turned them into these weird abominations.
But not content with putting you through Jack blowing his own head apart and witnessing Marguerite become a gross, spider abomination, the final battle sees you square up against Eveline.
Not "harmless old lady" Eveline, though. Gigantic, malformed, standard-for-Resident-Evil Eveline. An enormous, lumbering, squishy mass of an Eveline, complete with hideously malformed face.
If you thought Birkin was bad at the end of Resident Evil 2, he's got nothing on the monster granny.
