6. Executioners - Bloodborne

Fallout New Vegas
FromSoftware

Getting hold of Bloodborne's more, let's say, exquisite weapons, can be a pain in the arse. Most are locked behind multi-stage quests that only conclude towards the climax of the vanilla game, including Logarius' Wheel. However, there's a nifty workaround that Hunters looking for an early-game damage boost can adopt, though it isn't easy.

Alfred, leader of the Executioners, is the proud owner of Logarius' back-breaking weapon, and he only yields it under two circumstances. One of those is joining his crew and following his questline through to its end at Cainhurst Castle. The other, less conventional method is feigning allegiance to his cult of Vileblood slayers, offing him, and stealing the weapon from his cold corpse.

The latter sounds simple enough, but Alfred's no pushover. The bloke has a ton of health and hits like a freight train, even able to outright one-shot your poor Hunter depending on your level and build. The best course of action is to git gud, as the kids say, and become a parry god. This way, you'll open the cleric up to repeated Visceral Attacks and, should you triumph, gain early access to one of Bloodborne's strongest strength weapons.
