10 Video Game Franchises Netflix NEEDS To Develop
1. Hitman
After two movies that failed critically and commercially, it might be time to throw in the towel for the cloned super-assassin named Agent 47. But with the Hitman franchise still as entertaining as ever, maybe a series that focuses on Agent 47's assassination jobs all around the world would be much more suited to the character?
In order for the series to work it would need to be a procedural, with Agent 47 tasked with assassinating a new target every episode, escalating to more dangerous heights in new and intricate ways.
The show would give audiences a glimpse into the methodical mind of the hitman as opposed to seeing him engage in ridiculous action set-pieces. As much as it's entertaining to blast away enemies in the games, the real experience is very little engagement with targets at all, in the pursuit of calculated assassinations made to look like accidents.
To see Agent 47 carry out his kills in a more experimental fashion would make for an entertaining show that would take its time unfolding and exploring the ICA and other cloned assassins, as opposed to condensing and firing them at us without context or explanation like a film would.
