8. Metroidvania Test Stay Calm - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

A few weeks after Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released, a wonderfully jarring little secret was brought to light by Redditor CloneT1019.

On the planet Kashyyyk, near the boss fight with the Albino Wyyyschokk, it's possible to fall through part of the floor and land on a piece of bright green geometry hidden far below the generally accessible game map.

Hilariously, beyond being fully scalable like all regular geometry in the game, it also contains the text "Metroidvania test stay calm."

While it's extremely common for developers to leave test geometry underneath the game map, it's rare for them to contain such a strange, weirdly funny message.

Of course, Jedi: Fallen Order contains numerous distinct elements from Metroidvania games, but the insistence that whoever stumbles across the green mass must "stay calm" is rather bizarre indeed.

Intriguingly, recent sequel Jedi: Survivor actually included a warning message for players who went out-of-bounds, whether intentionally or not, offering them the option of reloading their last good save or continuing on in the broken expanse.
