10 Video Game Platformers That Deserve A Remake

7. Ratchet And Clank 1-3

You might be asking: didn't we get a Ratchet and Clank remake already? And you would be right in saying that. However, the new version of the game was considerably less than what was expected. The graphics and game-play had been refined excellently, but the game had then been butchered into a tiny fraction of what it once was.

There were eighteen planets in the original game and only eleven were remastered, with some of the best levels being cut. It would be amazing to see an entire game brought into the new style and updated. Insomniac expanded on a couple of the original levels to great success, so new platforming content could be added.

And of course, the sequels definitely need the same treatment. The thing that was so frustrating about the remake was that it was good quality platforming. But it was so short and lacked the original's best planets.

I like video games, writing and writing about video games. Expect sarcasm and the dry wit of a Brit. And the occasional rant of a unhappy Scot. You know... the usual.
