5. Shinespark In Burenia - Metroid Dread

Certain upgrades in Metroid Dread are hidden behind seemingly impenetrable walls called Speed Booster blocks. To break through these, you need to press down while running at top-speed to go into Shinespark mode. If you press jump and a directional button afterward, you'll charge into that corresponding direction, breaking any Speed blocks in your way.

Because you can't go into Shinespark mode unless you build up enough momentum, all puzzles involving these blocks is tricky. However, the hardest section is reaching the Missile+ upgrade in Burenia. Because the Speed blocks here are beside a slope, it's impossible to run at maximum speed. To get around this, you need to go into Shinespark mode in the corridor above, fall down, run up the slope, and then charge into the blocks.

But there's another snag. The Shinespark fades after three seconds. Navigating through this area takes 15 seconds. So, the only way to get this upgrade is to keep pressing down to reset the Shinespark while running through the corridors. If you lose your footing or bump into a wall, your Shinespark disappears, forcing you to start again.

If you watch a breakdown video of this section, it won't really help since you'll still need fly-like reflexes to pull this feat off.
