7. The Leap Of Faith - Watch Dogs: Legion

Much like Remedy, Ubisoft loves to include references to their other franchises in their new games, and the recent Watch Dogs: Legion saw them offer up a most amusing nod to the Assassin's Creed series.

During the game's "Gap in the Armor" mission, you'll need to break into the home of drone designer Hamish Bolaji, requiring you to first head up to the roof and hack a ctOS terminal.

But players who venture too near the roof edge will be launched into a most unexpected cutscene, as their character takes a courageous dive into the drink below.

Anyone playing Legion without much familiarity with the Assassin's Creed series will probably think it a bit odd, but this is of course a reference to the iconic "leap of faith" animation performed by assassins when diving from towering structures down to cushioning hay bales below.

As a cherry on top, they even included the ridiculous soaring eagle sound effect when you make the jump.
