Ubisoft's racing title, Trials Evolution, has a puzzle that's so overelaborate, not even Indiana Jones would bother with it.

By exploring the tracks, eagle-eyed players may spot cryptic symbols, strange audio files, and other mysterious auditory cues. These elements are so well-hidden, the average player wouldn't notice any of them.

But anyone who discovered them most certainly regretted it. Cracking these codes requires an understanding of almost every type of encryption, including anagrams, ciphers, Morse code, binary, base64 encoding, and steganography. Just to be clear, there's no steganography mechanic in the game. To solve those types of puzzles, you'll need to use a real steganographer.

Speaking of which, the answer to several puzzles can only be found outside the game, compelling players to locate treasure chests in the real world. One of the chests contain a key which will open the final box.

Unfortunately, anybody who's taken part in this convoluted sidequest has nothing to show for it, since the box's location will remain unknown until 2113 AD. Unless players manage to survive another 88 years, they'll never find out what the grand prize is.
