10 Video Game Secrets You Can't Unsee
6. Teddy Bears - Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
With each passing November, the esteemed Call of Duty series sees an influx of players crowding the game's online servers to boost their kill/death ratio and whisper sweet nothings to players bold enough to kill them.
In particular, the sixth entry in the main series, Modern Warfare 2, was loved by fans across the world, and the masses of players who booted up the online portion of the game after school each day were as persistent as they were efficient.
Their unrelenting perseverance saw them finding portions of each map that wasn't designed to be accessed. Infinity Ward perhaps saw this coming, and would insert teddy bears into such places, a creepy reminder that the player shouldn't have been able to access them.
In particular, a proficient performance of gaming gymnastics on the map 'Highrise', jumping from crane to crane (outside of the map itself) will allow the player to hop onto the roof of one of the maps' main buildings. Littered on the floor of the area are almost a dozen battered teddy bears. Weird.
It's still unclear as to why teddy bears are present in the game, and we'll likely never know.
