10 Video Game Secrets You WERE Supposed To Find

6. Doom (2016) - Classic Levels

When Wolfenstein: The New Order came out, it contained a great little Easter egg in which if you slept on a bed, you were able to experience a classic rendition of the original Wolfenstein game. It was cool, nostalgic and not hard to find.

Then Doom (2016) went one further.

One of the reasons to bludgeon your way through every level is to discover the plethora of secrets in its world. This ranges from cute little dolls representing the Doom Slayer and other monstrosities, to simple text logs. But there's something cooler to uncover.

Each level possess the same idea Wolfenstein: The New Order originally had -- a classic level for you to play in. It's not as extensive as Wolfenstein: The New Order, but since each level includes one, it offers more variations of level design.

Additionally, since there's so many opportunities for you to stumble across the levels, it's perhaps much easier to uncover than Wolfenstein: The New Order's and means more players will experience.

Whether they be hidden behind a simple lever or at the end of a dead end, you're guaranteed to stumble across one and it's quite a moment when you do.
