10 Video Game Secrets You Weren't Supposed To Find

6. The Titan (Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae)

It isn't just full games that contain supposedly-inaccessible secrets - demos do too. Launched over a year before the game itself, Episode Duscae served as a small taster of what people could expect from the full release of Final Fantasy XV, and fans wasted no time in exploring every single corner looking for clues.

Inevitably, it didn't take long for players to start trying to breach the demo's boundaries, and it was eventually discovered that you could break through them by jumping in front of a car and letting it push you through. And on the other side, a curious discovery was made.

By journeying way out of bounds into the unfinished regions of the demo, players found an enormous Titan statue carrying a massive rocky formation on its back. It was an incredible sight and really conveyed the sense of scope and scale that the devs were going for with this game, but nobody really knew what it was there for, despite plenty of solid theories.

All was made clear in the full game though. A much more mobile Titan was included as a boss encounter who faces off against protagonist Noctis. But in the demo, it was just a really awesome secret that felt equal parts mysterious and epic.
