10 Video Game Sequels That Have Already Fixed Fan Complaints
6. An Improved MyGM Mode - WWE 2K23
WWE 2K22 was something of a return to form for the wildly uneven wrestling game franchise, offering up a considerably sturdier and more enjoyable time compared to the utterly execrable, near-franchise-destroying WWE 2K20.
But it was far from perfect, and among the primary complaints was the disappointing MyGM mode, which returned to the series for the first time in almost 15 years yet fell hugely short of the mark.
As fun as the concept of playing as a WWE General Manager sounds on paper, the new iteration of GM Mode was massively lacking in features compared to prior versions.
For one, you could only book three matches per show, and no matter how things went the mode ended after a single year, rather than allowing you to keep playing forever.
But for WWE 2K23, MyGM mode will be significantly improved, allowing players to keep playing for multiple years with larger match cards, more match types, additional show options, and even more GMs to choose from.
That all sounds... pretty damn great.
