Anyone who grew up in the '90s remembers seeing Jurassic Park for the first time. It was a cinephile's moon-landing. And with such popularity, so too came the lunchboxes, T-Shirts, Pogs and - yes - video games.

There was at least one for virtually every console. The NES and SNES versions are identical, with updated graphics on the latter. The outlier here comes from Sega Genesis, where you have the option of playing as Alan Grant or a Velociraptor. As Grant, you humanely tranquilize guards and dinosaurs. As a raptor, you tear apart everything in sight.

Then came the sequel, Rampage Edition, in which Grant doesn't take s**t from anyone. In fact, forget tranquilizing those harmless dinosaur security guards, the Sega equips you with a shotgun, a tommy gun, a grenade and a handful of other lethal weapons. There's even a level in which you shoot down a helicopter, most assuredly maiming or murdering those inside.

That weighty, interesting debate about the ethics of reintroducing a species into the environment from the first film? Let's put a pin in that - or rather pull it out and blow it to hell.
