8. The Tinkerer Is Your Best Friend - Spider-Man: Miles Morales
This one is low on the list because it's almost stupidly obvious what the twist is, but to the game's credit, the build up to the big reveal doesn't overstay its welcome.
Continuing its predecessor's theme of good intentions gone horribly wrong, Miles Morales sees our titular hero having to deal with a childhood friend named Phin, who has assumed the title of The Tinkerer in order to bring down evil corporation Roxxon.
Noble in itself, but Phin's got a lot of trauma behind this, the kind that can only make you angry and stupid. So she takes a lot of insane risks and very quickly singles out Miles as an enemy when he doesn't immediately tow her line.
Like I said, the twist comes pretty quickly, but before it does you get all kinds of hints as to what's going on. One could even say it starts to beat you over the head with the foreshadowing, but hey, the twist is revealed like 10 minutes later so I say it's all good.
