10 Video Game Villains Who Actually Killed The Hero

4. Micah Bell (Red Dead Redemption 2)

If Red Dead Redemption 3 ever gets made, do not expect the protagonist to survive. Based on this track record, it's highly unlikely they'll be alive at the end of the story.

There are a couple of different ways that the second game in the series can end, and while all of them feature the death of hero Arthur Morgan, there are two specific ones in which he's finished off by easy-to-hate outlaw antagonist, Micah Bell.

Depending on whether your honour is high or low when you complete the story, several different things can happen. In one ending, Micah shoots Arthur in the head at point-blank range, before laughing at his corpse and walking away.

In another, Micah wounds Arthur with a knife, but their struggle is broken up by Dutch, who soon leaves. Then, Arthur - who is not in good shape at this point - tries to crawl away, but he's finished off by Micah, who stabs him in the back.

Just like with Edgar Ross, you probably already hated Micah at this point, but if you somehow didn't, then watching him put Morgan down with such viciousness will definitely push you over the edge. Micah is one of the most disliked characters in the Red Dead universe, and it's not hard to see why.

In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too.
