10 Video Game Villains Who Actually Killed The Hero

2. Ramsay Bolton (Telltale's Game Of Thrones)

Ramsay Bolton doesn't really need an introduction at this point, with the Game of Thrones villain becoming an infamous figure in the pop-culture landscape due to the almost untouchable levels of evilness he displayed throughout the show.

And in Telltale's episodic story-driven game, the character was just as rotten to the core as you'd expect, something that players didn't have to wait too long to discover.

Ramsay appears in the very first episode, immediately striking fear into the hearts of the Forrester family, the game's group of protagonists. At the end of the episode, young Ethan Forrester bravely tries to stand up to Ramsay when he starts interfering with the Forrester clan, but the villain doesn't take too kindly to this act of courage, and stabs Ethan in the neck without so much as a second thought.

Now, this would be bad enough if Ethan was an adult, but he was only a child. Considering his young age - and his status as a playable character - a lot of players probably assumed that he was safe, but we underestimated just how far Game of Thrones would go to shock its audience, and how far Ramsay would go to make a point.
