10 Video Games With The Most Outstanding Graphics Of 2013

6. Battlefield 4

Battlefield 42

If you were sitting there thinking that this game wouldn't feature then you would be gravely mistaken. Obviously, Battlefield 4 marks the beginning of a new era in video game graphics following Battlefield 3 setting the benchmark, but its successor pushes the boundaries even further with more lens flares, more specks of water on your screen and more explosions. The sheer scale of this visual perfection is unreal. The smallest pool of water has a detailed reflection map with super-realistic ripples, the fabric on your teammate's shoulder is practically touchable and the thrashing waves when at sea are just astonishing. Battlefield 4 has hit the nail right on the shiny reflective head with this piece of next generation entertainment.
Even the droplets of water splashed over your visor light up when shooting a gun making them resemble tiny explosions across your screen. Heck, even the writing across destroyable cardboard boxes is nice and crisp like text on a retina screen. A gargantuan player in the visual world and certainly one of the most innovative.
