10 Video Games That Are Shameless Rip-Offs

1. Limbo of the Lost

Majestic Studios formed in 1993, and during their tenure that lasted around a decade-and-a-half, they released one game in 2007. This point-and-click adventure game, which was first demoed in 1995, was released and bemusement promptly followed, as it became clear that the game stole from numerous other games, such as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, World of Warcraft, Thief: Deadly Shadows, Unreal Tournament and countless others. Also, an entire scene was stolen from the movie Spawn, and images were also nicked from both Beetlejuice and Pirates of the Caribbean. In 2008, amid the media furore, publisher Tri Synergy decided to pull manufacturing the game, and the people running Majestic Studios promptly bailed out with their tail tucked between their legs. The game persists - for those who can track a copy down - as a bizarre curio, and it's incredulous howit got as far as the release stage. Insane. What shamelessly derivative games do you hate?
