10 Video Games That Don't Let You Save
5. Wolfeinstein II: The New Colossus
If you're as questionably skilled at shooters as some unnamed article authors, you've probably died at least a handful of times in Wolfenstein II - especially if you see red and decide to charge into gunfire like a professional moron.
As such, many players would last approximately twelve seconds in the Mein Leben difficulty setting, as it's a mixture of the hardest difficulty setting mixed with the fact that you only have one life, and have to play through the whole game without dying or quitting.
Importantly, Wolfeinstein II; The New Colossus takes around ten to eleven hours to finish its campaign, so not only do you have to play borderline flawlessly, but you have to do so for a minimum of ten hours or it's all worth zilch.
It's a genius way to add replay value to those who are hardened veterans at the game and franchise, but it's also fair to say that that few people are playing a dozen or so hours of a game you cannot quit or save without some considerable preparation beforehand.
