10 Video Games That Let You Battle Death Itself!
2. Gravelord Nito - Dark Souls
It would be remiss of me not to talk about the big daddy of Death when it comes to the Dark Souls universe wouldn't it? After all, with players preparing to die so often, they're probably well acquainted with Gravelord Nito, who serves as Lord of the Dead and was the first being to come in contact with a Lord Soul.
This hulking mass of bony body bits takes up residence in the Catacombs of The Giants Tomb and thanks to his ever increasing army of Gravelord Servants, spreads death and sickness throughout multiple worlds all of which feed back to him. As you can imagine, with all of this influence Nito isn't exactly a pushover and when the Chosen Undead encounters him to syphon his power to fuel the Lordvessel, it's a rough fight from start to finish.
What makes his battle so tough is that a lot of his attacks are infused with Toxic, meaning you'll be losing huge chunks of health AND now have to battle this. And don't be fooled into thinking you can hide and heal, because he'll send minions after you and blast the arena with a powerful "Death Wave" attack.
However, if your mettle is strong enough, you can send this femur father six feet deep, although strangely death is still a thing after his defeat. Not sure how that works. Then again, this is Dark Souls.
