10 Video Games That Let You Be An Utter Scumbag

3. Super Seducer: How To Talk To Girls

Super Seducer is not only one of the creepiest and most controversial video games released over the last few years - it's also one of the most pathetic.

Less a game and more a "self-help" tool for men unequipped with the social mechanisms to talk to women, Super Seducer sees pick-up artist Richard La Ruina teaching the player how to seduce women through a series of video tutorials-cum-interactive puzzles.

La Ruina stars as the "player character" in a series of skits that'd be hilarious were they not so fundamentally misogynistic, offering the player a round of dialogue options that encourage negging, gaslighting and other means of psychological abuse.

If the game had any sense of satirical self-awareness or actually touted a message about being respectful to women, there could've been something entertaining if not useful here, but ultimately the player is cast in the part of a man with little desire to view women as anything more than objects to be manipulated for sex.

And it's not even like La Ruina is convincing as a suave Lothario: he's a charisma vacuum with a bad haircut stuffed into a cheap suit, and so hearing him admonish you for picking the "wrong" choice is both embarrassing and offputting.

Depressingly enough, the game sold well enough for a sequel to be quickly curled out, and a third game is currently nearing the end of development.

Save yourself the money - and don't give cash to a sexist scumbag - by simply watching one of the many cringe montages available on YouTube.
