10 Video Games That Let You Unlock The Main Villain!

Before Sony's PS4 version of Spider-Man hit the scenes, there was only one true amazing title in the webslingers library of games, strangely being the movie tie in title Spider-Man.

Not only was it truly impressive in how it presented it's version of New York City, but the swinging mechanics offered up a new level of freedom never before seen in a super hero video game. The game reviewed well with fans and critics alike and many praised how it retold the games events while also not taking itself too seriously, letting the more "comic" of moments rise to the top.

And something we all rightly grinned ear to ear for was finding out that you could actually unlock The Green Goblin as a playable character. This fearsome flight suit wearing foe was the main antagonist of the game, and now we weilded his awesome glifer and razor bombs for ourselves. It completely changes the way that the game plays and they even recorded new lines of dialogue to make a semblance of sense when playing through the main campaign.

It might not have been as cathartic as web slinging but it was truly a blast to lob bombs at enemies and cackle away as we sped off on that iconic glider.
