3. Albert Wesker - Resident Evil 4
The Mercenaries mode from Resident Evil 4 was the true cherry on the cake moment on an already outstanding experience. Now it was a race against time itself to score as many points as possible against an unstopabble wave of infected foes and horrifying mini-bosses. It's exhillirating from start to finish and will have you becoming an item management mastery as you try to plan ten steps ahead as to what ammunition to use on what enemy.
However while Leon is the only character you start out with, by getting a four star ranking on each stage, you'll unlock new roster members, including Hunk, Ava, Krauser and of course everyones favourite scenery chewer, Albert Wesker.
Honestly playing as this beast was an elevated moment of joy. With his impressive loadout, over the top martial arts moves and of course access to a punch that can knock an enemy back across half the map, you really felt like the baddest mother on the planet. Things got even more unchained in Resident Evil 5 where he was now sporting even deadlier moves and an insane attack called The Knee Cannon which sees him charging towards a foe and obliterating them up close.
