10 Video Games That Prove The PS Vita Is Infinitely Better Than You Think
6. Deception IV: Blood Ties
The Playstation Vita has a boat-load of unique games, but Deception IV: Blood Ties tops the list. It’s a bit of an odd concept; a mix of an action/beat-em-up and what I could only describe as an execution simulator. You play a bit of a villain and you’ve got a castle. Heroes will make their way through the wilderness to your home, to try to invade and kill you.
Many of them are considerably larger and stronger than you are, so you have to rely on placing traps and torture devices sprinkled around in a considerably more macabre version of Animal Crossing and then leading unfortunate souls to their doom.
You’ve got your standard gruesome fare, giant swinging axes, iron maidens, spikes and so on, but there’s also a wide variety of other comical, awful devices fit to kill. You can combo together banana peels, rubber hammers and giant killer yoyos, all for extra points before electrocuting them and dropping an Indiana Jones style boulder from above.
