Sucker Punch's Ghost Of Tsushima is a visually striking and constantly enthralling tale that follows samurai protagonist Jin Sakai fight back against the Mongol army that have invaded the titular island he calls home. To do so, he'll have to adopt a guerilla fighting style which goes against the samurai's strict code of honour.

As players journey throughout the vast island, they will spend much of their time clearing out enemy camps when they're not aiding the locals or following adorable foxes to hidden shrines. With so much to do, however, players may fail to notice that the state of the world changes at the end of each of the game's acts.

Although Jin succeeds in reclaiming key strongholds and eliminating Mongolian leaders, the island is still occupied by Mongol forces, which are consequently adapting to the changing tide of the ongoing battle.

With nowhere else to go, enemies will consequently take control of areas that were previously left unoccupied, with more Mongol camps cropping up when players complete key missions. Not only does this give players more side content to complete, but it's a subtle reminder of the brutal war Jin is fighting.
