10 Video Games That Time Forgot (But We Haven’t)

9. Wii Music - Nintendo Wii - 2008

Maximo game
Nintendo

Wii Music was both developed and published by Nintendo. The game invites players to control an on-screen band, choosing from a selection of instruments and songs.

The game differs from other rhythm games such as Rock Band and Guitar Hero as players do not receive a score based on their performance. Wii Music received mixed reviews with some critics stating that the game was too simple and had no goal with the lack of a scoring system.

In my household all games were competitive between myself and my siblings and although I was incredibly excited to receive this game on christmas morning, we soon found out that there was no way to effectively win. Being a family title it makes sense that everyone should join in and have fun, but the lack of a goal put many gamers off the concept.

After all said and done though, I loved playing the guy with the cat costume.
