10 Video Games That Will Consume Your Life
9. Let It Die
Emerging as one of the biggest cult hits of the past few years, Grasshopper Manufacture's oh-so-bonkers Let It Die appeared out of nowhere and offered players a staggering amount of content for the low, low price of sweet F.A.
That's right, Let It Die is a free-to-play title that you can download for PS4, Xbox One and Steam.
Existing as something of a Dark Souls knock-off by way of a Rogue-like, Let It Die puts you in the shoes of an unnamed protagonist who's guided through a bizarre world by a skateboarding grim reaper type known as Uncle Death.
It's fairly light in the story department, but the weighty and fun combat keeps you hooked throughout and the multiplayer additions only help to sweeten the deal.
A play-through consisting solely of the main story can take the average player around 90 hours, whereas for the completionists amongst us, strap yourself in for a staggering 180 hours of pure, unfiltered hack-and-slash mayhem.
A truly staggering amount of content in a title that you don't have to pay a penny for.
