Granted, the term 'Filthy Casual' was probably coined elsewhere by those who were moulded by the internet, but never has it been so applicable to console gamers unless you are discussing the king of 'hours played', Skyrim.
The world of gaming now stands in awe of such a dedicated community, given that The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim has seen some individual players rack up somewhere close to 10,000 hours (and probably exceeding that number too) within its enormous map.
To put this into perspective: 10,000 hours is considered to be the time it takes to become an expert in a certain field. To give this gravity, or worth, 10,000 hours on a hobby would be three hours a day, every day until mastery is achieved - that's NINE YEARS.
