10 Video Games With INSANELY High Completion Rates
6. Marvel's Spider-Man - 50.8%
Marvel's Spider-Man is one of the PS4's most beloved exclusive titles, which goes a way to explain why 50.8% of players couldn't pull themselves away until the end credits rolled.
Despite open-world games typically offering some of the softer completion rates in the AAA sphere - given the tendency for players to be lured off the critical path for extended periods - Insomniac's measured approach to the formula ensured players were largely keen to keep chipping away at the story.
Rather than bloat the game's map out with an exhausting amount of icons and Things To Do, Insomniac took a slightly more chill through-line - there was still plenty of extra content, but given the strength of the story, many were compelled to actually keep up a decent pace towards the finish line.
At a more basic level it speaks to the sheer brilliant wish fulfilment of getting to swing around New York City as Spidey on PS4.
With the upcoming spin-off Spider-Man: Miles Morales set to offer up a shorter, Lost Legacy-style riff on the same experience, we can probably expect it to surpass that high percentage.
