2. Diablo 3 - Hardcore

The levelling adventure is only one side of Diablo 3. Arguably the end-game at max level has even more content, running rifts and bounties that constantly encourage you to push the difficulty to the max in order to get the best rewards.

Diablo 3’s Hardcore mode means your character has a single life. Stand in some lava for too long, pull too many demons, run out of defensive moves, and your character will die, and be locked from play. You’re constantly pushing yourself and on the edge of your seat, torn between wanting to stay on a safer, lower difficulty, but needing to crank it up to progress your character faster.
