7. Far Cry 2
Ubisofts epic open world shooter, Far Cry 2s main story represents hours upon hours of playtime. Its a great game, that emphasises a sense of freedom; you can rush through the missions with a spray-n-pray mentality if you so desire, or take your time exploring and deciding on the correct course of action. However, if youre after 100%, youre going to have to get comfy youre in for the long haul.
Why Youll Never 100% It: If you want to get 100% here, youll obviously have to complete every mission in the main story, complete side missions, as well as completing prerequisite tasks along the lines of exploring every 1km region of the map (which is pretty big, by the way). This in itself represents a mammoth task, but then the real challenge comes in the form of the online achievements. The top level online achievement/trophy is Warlord, which requires you to attain Rank 30 online, which unfortunately takes somewhere between 500 and 1000 hours. If youre going for this one, you really are a glutton for punishment.
