10 Video Games You're Secretly A Fan Of

3. Knack

If Knack is even remembered at all, it's surely known as the PS4's most high-profile launch title flop: a platformer touted as the next big Sony IP, only for it to receive wildly mixed reviews and quickly disappear into obscurity.

Critics complained that Knack was too difficult for children and didn't do enough to differentiate itself in a crowded genre, even if it's actually one of the PS4's most underrated games. Fight me.

Yes, Knack's surprising level of challenge was a sure misstep, but at its core it was still a creative and colourful platformer which made inspired use of its titular protagonist's size-shifting abilities.

In the years since its release, Knack has becoming something of a meme among PS4 owners, despite the fact that it's rather far from the dumpster fire those early reviews dismissed it as. It's hardly perfect, but solid fun nonetheless.

We can likely all agree, though, that 2017's surprise sequel was a major improvement.
