10 Ways EA Can Vastly Improve FIFA’s Career Mode

5. Cut-Scene Press Conferences

Everyone and their mum is sick of choosing between 'Praise' and 'Unnerve' in those useless pre-match press conferences. What's said never seems to have much of an effect outside your own mind, and it's forgotten about as soon as the next game rolls around even if you choose to criticise a rival boss.

All you get there is Martin Tyler waffling on about it being disrespectful. Boo-bloody-hoo.

FIFA 20's Career Mode should come armed with some actual interactive cut scenes that have your manager facing a thorough grilling from the press. Players would then be able to decide whether or not they want to keep the journalists on side, or ban them from the training ground so they can't pester the big stars with story-hungry questions.

Press conferences are a major part of a manager's day-to-day life in real footy, and that needs to be represented better in FIFA. A few flimsy one-word answers backed by poorly-written newspaper clippings doesn't cut it anymore, we're afraid.
