10 Ways Grand Theft Auto Lied To Us

7. The Significance Of The Aliens

In a similar fashion to our previous point, the significance of the Alien menace has been heavily played up in Grand Theft Auto V. Although the presence of - and obvious inherent danger and malice - the Aliens has always been a part of the Grand Theft Auto franchise and world building efforts, it is only in Grand Theft Auto V that the presence of the Aliens has been felt so openly and clearly. From the easter egg Alien in the starting missions, to the Alien film in progress at Vinewood Studios, through to the 4 fully fledged hovering (or crashed) Unidentified Flying Objects that can be found throughout the skies of Los Santos in the right conditions, the Alien danger is clear. There are also radio reports of kidnappings and abductions, the collectable spaceship parts and occasional lights in the skies. This all seems to be leading somewhere, especially when the Alien welcome park is stumbled upon, with strange symbols painted onto the concrete. Efforts to discover and resolve the mystery puzzles left in this park have come to naught, which is remarkably coming from a company with such a well known addiction to Easter Eggs. The possibility exists that this is another classic Rockstar attempt to provide an Easter Egg through not actually providing an Easter Egg. Something of a pattern is emerging here...
