10 Ways The PS5 Will DESTROY The Next Xbox
10. PlayStation Now Can Finally Challenge Games Pass
Sony's Playstation Now service got off to a pretty rocky start. Their original plan to answer the demand for backwards compatibility was to implement the service as a way for players to stream classic titles from previous generations, but that didn't go as smoothly as they hoped.
Fans viewed Now as being over-priced and the streaming technology itself unreliable, two issues which only became more unforgivable when the Xbox One not only introduced backwards compatibility, but also the Games Pass system which let players download full games at a lower cost.
Slowly but surely, Sony have responded to the competition and improved their service massively. First, they allowed the option for fans to download PS4 games, while they've recently announced a new pricing model and a whole bunch of games that are being added.
Games Pass might still have the edge, but Playstation Now is finally a contender, and can only get better going into the next gen.
