10 Ways Valorant Is A Clone Of Counter-Strike

6. Managing Money

One of the most unique aspects of Counter-Strike is its economy and we see the same system in Valorant. Players are rewarded with cash for getting kills and teams are paid varying amounts depending on whether or not they win the round.

This money is then used to buy weapons and abilities and when a team has insufficient funds, they must resort to a 'save round', which is (you guessed it!) a round where a team refrains from buying anything in order to save money and afford more powerful weapons in the next round.

Ever since I saw BJ grin as he picked up the chain gun in Wolfenstein 3D, I've been hooked on video games. My first love, however, was Counter-Strike 1.3 and I would beg my mom to take me to Internet cafés just so I could play it. The other two games that captured my heart were World of Warcraft and Quake, though I play all sorts of games (especially of the competitive multiplayer type). Oh, and I love dwarves and write fantasy stories about them in my free time.
