10. Cho Aniki
At a quick glance, Cho Aniki looks like a fairly standard 'bullet hell' side-scrolling shoot 'em up, with the screen filled with flowing projectiles and flying enemies. At least, it does until you realise that those aren't alien ships, but muscle-bound men in their underwear posing in a number of creative ways. What's most bizarre is that this isn't just a quirky one-off release. The series is actually pretty popular in Japan, with eight main entries in the series as of writing. Cho Aniki (or "Super Big Brothers" when translated to English) is a hilarious romp through homoerotic imagery, camp dialogue and risqué references. Homoeroticism and violence: if ever there was a game that wouldn't go over well with the Daily Mail crowd, it's this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gF-gqOeio2I
