Whether waving a light gun around in your local arcade or in the comfort of your bedroom, Time Crisis 2, much like the other entries in the series, will put your reflexes to the ultimate test.

By God was it cheesy, though. Hammy voice acting, generic dialogue, and uninspired plot revolving around a madman trying to take over the world with a military satellite; it tried and failed so hard to be like an action movie.

It’s certainly not without its fair share of laughable moments. After fighting through the woods and heading through the train yards, our sports jacket-loving heroes hop a ride on the train transporting the satellite.

Buff Bryant is guarding it, however, and will hop into a turret to fight back. After taking enough damage, he'll up a missile, and will try to swing it around to smack the protagonists, like a game of Whack-a-Mole. Oddly, getting bonked on the head by one of these only deducts one life, rather than splattering you outright.

After absorbing a few hundred bullets, he’ll toss the warhead aside. Conveniently enough, a helicopter will give him a lift, to which he’ll hop on and begin spraying a chaingun around.

You’re probably hoping that the game has a ruddy good explanation for this inhuman feat of strength. Was he a cyborg, or a super-soldier experiment unleashed?

Nope, he’s just really, really strong.
