Here's a dopey casting call for ya. What if the dog from the NES light gun game Duck Hunt stopped laughing at inaccurate hunters, and decided to go 3D with the very creature it was trying to catch?

Retro names from old school Nintendo games were not necessarily weird additions (popular ones like Mario, Link, etc. became staples in the series). Little Mac from Punch-Out was a good choice, since he was a nimble boxer and a main character from various games, and not a smelly mutt from the background of an NES title.

The Duck Hunt Duo uses mostly pixel-based attacks, such as dropping down one of the members of the Wild Gunman game, or tossing explosive cans from Hogan's Alley, which can be shot at by pressing B to gain height but eventually blow up in someone's face. These can be mighty useful on the battlefield.

One of the duo's taunts features the dog looking at the camera and sniggering, just like back in the original game. Oh, how that annoyed so many people...

Then again, should one feel bad about beating up a dog and a duck? On the flip side, they ARE using pixelated weaponry against you, so...
