10 Weirdest Things People Have Done With Football Manager

1. Simulated 1000 Years Of Premier League Results

When all is said and done, you can't get more insane than the things the Football Manager faithful do with the game. These professional types, or FM widows, might invoke the franchise in other respects, but it's only those who spend most of their lives glued to stats and spreadsheets who can come up with the truly odd stuff. Like time travel. One dedicated Reddit user played the game for 58 days straight, and simulated a thousand years of English football. A full millennium. According to those oh-so-reliable FM algorithms, you can expect Sheffield United to become the most trophy-rich team in the existence of the sport, with Burnley a close second behind them. The full list of results is truly staggering. It's also staggering that somebody came up with the idea, spent two months of their life continually running Football Manager, and then parsed through a thousand years of imaginary football results. That's the sort of dedication that FM inspires. And the sort of insanity that it can bring. Which other Football Manager achievements and quirks do you think deserve to be on this list?
