4. Assassin€™s Creed: Unity Is Riddled With Bugs

Near the end of 2013, things were looking up for the Assassin€™s Creed series. Black Flag managed to shake the franchise up to a surprising extent, thanks to its refreshing pirate theme and extensive naval combat. Sadly, Assassin€™s Creed: Unity didn€™t manage to live up to its predecessor€™s brilliance. Not only did it see a return to the tired formula that had plagued the series until Black Flag, but it was also filled with game-breaking bugs. Unity had clearly been released a few months too soon, as evidenced by the characters without faces, dodgy collision detection, and missing textures. Fans weren€™t happy, and Ubisoft themselves admitted the game€™s release had been €œreally, really damaging for the company.€
