10 Worst Modern Video Game Universes To Live In

3. Dead Island

Dead Island There are a few entries in this list with the word dead in their titles, which is a pretty good sign that you are going to be experiencing life in a pretty crappy universe. Dead Island is no exception. Like Left 4 Dead, the people have to deal with a zombie outbreak (again, the fast kind) and the tragedy of seeing loved ones turning into mindless monsters. Only in this case, it€™s happening on their holiday! The only thing worse than a zombie outbreak is a zombie outbreak when you€™re on a sunny beach trying to forget about the real world. And having to face off against the undead when you€™re on holiday, in an unfamiliar place, will catch you off guard. All of us have probably thought about what our plan would be if the zombies came, where we would hide and what we would use to fight them off, but how many have thought about what their plan would be if the undead came to Kavos during July when they were drinking themselves stupid? (Although if you were in Kavos during July, you might not even notice) But the island of Banoi isn€™t just a holiday resort. There€™s also a town where the locals live, and even before the zombies came, it was pretty run-down; a shanty-town with tiny apartments and poorly constructed shacks. Imagine living there, with no money, in a hot, cramped shoebox of a home, only to be hit by a horde of flesh-eating zombies? Life can be so cruel.
