Frankly, I was surprised when Hydrophobia appeared on the list of Sony's free games for PS Plus subscribers. It had been on sale for a massive discount for what felt like forever. Month after month the game could be had for a measly $2, but its mass of poor reviews always kept people from buying it. So, when it finally hit Playstation Plus, people must have been eager to finally see what all the hubbub was about. What they found, was a game that was completely and utterly average on all fronts - other than its water effects. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't fun either, the reason it made this list is simply due to the fact that it was on sale for so long for such a cheap price. It was like they couldn't sell it for any price they attached, so they just started pushing it on people for free. I couldn't begin to imagine how mad someone who actually paid for it might have been once it was finally put on PS+, Ignoring it for all those months and then finally taking the bait, right before it goes free.
Any time I'm not writing, I'm likely arguing about children's cartoons with strangers on the internet or staring at my ceiling and wondering where it all went wrong.
