10 Worst Pokémon Video Games Ever
6. Pokémon Battle Revolution – Wii
How did Nintendo decided to revive the Pokémon Stadium franchise I hear you ask? Well, they rebadged it as Battle Revolution, added in the characters up to the Sinnoh Pokédex, and stripped it of anything remotely fun or interesting – Battle Revolution? More like Battle Devolution…
Presumably to simplify the game, the story mode that was so well received in Pokemon Colosseum was discarded and was replaced by online connectivity that allowed you to take on other trainers from around the world – because that’s what everyone wants isn’t it? To be beaten mercilessly by someone half their age that they don’t even know?
Battle Revolution removed all the fun from Pokémon and made it all about battling, battling, and more battling until you couldn’t take anymore and switched the game off for good. There’s no catching, training, adventure, or anything other than battling in this game – save for customising your trainer’s face with make up.
