10 Worst Video Games Of 2024 (So Far)

1. Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice isn't fun, but at least it’s playable.

The same cannot be said about Jujutsu Kaiden: Cursed Clash. Based on the beloved anime and manga of the same name, Byking and Gemdrops' should've done everything in their power to ensure this fighting title maintained the high standards of the source material.

However, there's no question Cursed Clash was rushed out to take advantage of the brand's rising popularity, since it doesn't have one redeemable feature. The net code is atrocious, the character roster is pathetically small, and the battle arenas are empty and uninteresting. (Also, how can a modern fighting game not have a local multiplayer option?)

The plot in the main campaign is told through stationary images, which is accompanied by muffled voice-acting. When players aren't watching this basic slideshow, they're taking part in uninspiring battles. Since almost every opponent can be vanquished through button-mashing, there's no need to master the combat system.

On top of that, the battles have little variety. After taking part in the same dreadful brawls dozens of times in a row, it's hard not to call it a day.

For these reasons, Cursed Clash isn't just the worst game of 2024 thus far, but among the most tedious fighting games ever.
